**About Us**:

***About You***:
Here at Coverflex we’re used to making things happen in a more relaxed environment. Don’t get us wrong, we take our work very seriously. That’s why we need help in some key areas, where things cannot happen as ease as our Coverflex App (you should try it)!

We would like it very much if you match these requirements:

– 4/5 years of experience in a law, consulting, or high-growth tech company would be great;
– Primary expertise on Data Privacy;
– Ability to support cross-functional legal aspects through a mixed approach of in-house execution with coordination of outsourcing activities
– If you’re an open-minded person, that should be called a plus for you and for us;
– As we told you before, some things are not as relaxed as we always try to be: we also need your help on being very structured and organized;
– Passion and drive! – you agree this is a must, right?
– You should have good communication skills: at the end of the day, it’s all about quality communication and doing awesome things happen together;
– We also would love it if you’re a great relationship builder because you’re expected to help Coverflex from an all-rounded point of view;
– Portuguese & English fluency.

**The Role**:
We’ll detail a little bit more further down what will be your main responsibilities and challenges, but keep in mind that what we need is help from someone who can have a positive outlook about work being done with attitude, resilience, and agility.

Your main responsibilities will be:

– Monitor, continuously improve, design, and implement internal cross-functional policies and procedures related to legal matters such as Compliance, Risk Management, Privacy, and Data Protection;
– Monitor internal compliance, inform and advise on Data Protection Obligations and act as a contact point for any GDPR related aspects;
– Provide cross-functional support inside the company from a legal perspective, namely:

– (i) drafting all required contracts and policies under the implementation of new products and features;
– (ii) guaranteeing risk awareness amongst staff by providing support and developing internal training programs within the company;
– (iii) developing public documents to build and maintain trust;
– Monitor the evolution of the regulatory framework inside the industry and report internally the main trends and developments;
– Assess and evaluate compliance across the organization on a continuous basis;
– Too much stuff around here? There are only two more, you’re going just fine;
– Support all legal aspects of the negotiations with Clients and Suppliers, as well as perform all necessary contract management activities along with the contract terms and duration;
– Support the coordination and revision of all legal works outsourced to external consultants and ensure all efforts are executed with efficiency and high-quality standards.
